EveAnna's 1973 Lancia Fulvia 1.3S

I no longer own this car. I sold it 12/2006.

I had the only Lancia Fulvia in Chino for certain. This is a very rare car for the USA.

It is in perfect shape. I get pulled over all the time for this Italian license plate (from Bologna).

Officer: Where is your California license plate?
EveAnna: On top of the back seat back there.
Officer: Why isn't it mounted on the rear of your vehicle?
EveAnna: (In best helpless girlie voice) It doesn't fit.
Officer: (Who doesn't know I own a machine shop) Well, take it easy.

The dash looks something like this.

There is Max about to take off without me.

Here's the guts of my Lancia. Nice little 1300cc V-4. One massive head cover.
I should either polish it or powder coat it like I did the airbox and fresh air intake.
Right after I actually clean/detail the engine compartment, like, when I get time.

10/2006: New starter, rebuilt fuel pump, new filters, carb cleaned out. All is running fine.

Too frikkin cool! 1973 Lancia Fulvia 1.3S imported from Italy to USA.

The best Italian Cars web forum, mostly Alfa but has a "other Italian cars" section too!

It runs strong, body is tight, everything works great except the dang clock which has never worked. Body is totally straight. Doors solid. Interior nearly perfect. No rips or tears or shoddy stuff. All original everything. Rubber mats, vinyl seats, etc. No radio was ever installed. No speakers or speaker holes in rear deck.

There are 2 small scratches (chip in paint) on 2 places where careless people scraped by it with gear or something. Always serviced by Dave at Summit Automotive (or Adolfo before he went to work for Ferrari) in Marina del Ray who looks after all my Italian cars. He has all the service records. It has been kept in my house's garage mostly all this time or covered with car cover in the driveway for the last 2 years. You can see some bubbling of paint on rear flat panel above bumper and that was there 10 years ago and hasn't gotten any worse in So Cal.

My ex bought it in Italy, drove it to Spain, and then imported it here in 1993 or thereabouts along with an Alfa Super. (Sold that car.) Each car cost about $6K to legally bring in through DOT and customs. I think I still have the original Italian orange (instead of red as pictured) taillight and the original side marker teardrop lenses somewhere that the importers replaced with the ugly DOT-rated square ones.

I do not drive the car much at all and feel guilty about this which is why I sold it. I looked after it very well.

It had 93924 original KM (58,361 miles). Paint is shiny and indeed a very pretty maroon color.

I no longer own this car. I sold it 12/2006.
