I bought this 1989 Hawk in 1997 with about 2700 miles on it. It's still like brand new. After I got my H-D FXLR, I sold it to my buddy, Cozmic Joe who also had a Hawk. He had the Two Brothers left-mount exhaust put on to show off that naked hub on the right. In 2003 Joe wanted to get another bike so I bought it back from him. We have a pact that we are not allowed to sell it to anyone else. When I want to sell it, I can only sell it back to him. But I like this little bike, so that's not going to happen any time soon. 2006: Got a new rear Penske shock, got rid of the air stock air box, installed UNI pods and a new jet kit from meccanicacorse.net. J.D. Hord, the owner, is a totally nice guy. Highly recommended. A famous local, DeWayne Jones did front shock upgrades for me. This bike is really tight now.

VANIMAL GETS BUSTED IN BLYTHE...
I got busted going over 100mph on the 10 freeway through Blythe. But the cop was nice and only wrote me up for 90+.
