Who is Michael Hunter?
Michael is a pretty ambitious guy who has worked his way through several departments at the factory. He began his career at Manley Labs as a transformer winder and soon enough took over that department and got it organized. He trained up new winders and also contributed many ideas to new part designs, such as the special Stingray output transformer. Being a smart manager, he then trained up a replacement, Joe Rodriguez, to run the transformer department and moved on to getting the PCB girls organized.
Again he attacked the job with vigor. Working with Dave Gordon, they got the wave solder machine installed and put a number of parts prepping machines on-line to improve efficiency. Then of course, being a smart manager, he trained up a replacement, Maggie, who continues to direct the girls in the printed circuit board department.
What next? He saw that Baltazar and EveAnna were doing tag-team parts ordering and volunteered to take over purchasing duties from them. This was a good idea. He has done a good job at this for sure and saved the company a lot of bucks in sourcing better prices and finding better parts. His favorite program is FileMaker Pro and he converted all our old Excel databases over to Filemaker. He's really clever with writing scripts created a comprehensive MRP (Material Requirements Planning) solution using Filemaker.
Now Michael is working closely with Hutch on board layouts using the CAD program and has even switched over to a PC.
Michael Hunter is king of the Ms. Pac-Man/Pac-Man Galaga combo machine. He currently holds all the high scores for all the games on the machine. He also plays pretty mean foosball.
